Yet the old time fairy tale, having served for generations, may now be classed as ‘historical’ in the children’s library; for the time has come for a new series of ‘wonder tales…’

About Josh Dobbin

Josh Dobbin currently travels ninety miles per second around the sun, one hundred and thirty six miles per second around the galaxy, and one hundred and eighty five miles within the local cluster of known galaxies.

He accomplishes these spectacular feats all while standing still. Or, very often, to his eternal chagrin, while folding laundry.

He has variously been employed as a magician’s assistant, lifeguard, circus camp counselor, video store clerk, oriental rug washer, graphic designer, internet developer, live action roleplaying organization owner (back when it was cool!*),  house painter, project and property manager, and once, while wearing a headset in room full of phone operators, convinced a person in Ohio over the phone to buy three Flowbee home-haircut machines as gifts for the whole family.

But mostly what he’s good at is telling stories.

He is fond of stories about (but not limited to) knights, wizards, tragic kings, cursed swords, cowboys, robots, spacemen, long forgotten gods, monsters, thieves, and scoundrels with hearts of gold.

Occasionally, he writes these types of stories.

Josh has had more love and wonder in his life than he probably deserves, and is eternally grateful for each and every moment of it.

He is the father of two daughters, Justine and Jacinda, who own all of his heart.
